FUNDRAISING

Forests Without Borders is a volunteer-run micro charity. We develop and manage grassroots projects with communities around the world. That means all proceeds from fundraising efforts go directly to the projects we work on. No overhead, no CEO's, no profit.

This year, #GivingTuesday, the world's largest generosity movement, is on November 28th, 2023.

TANZANIA FUNDRAISING PROJECT

FwB is fundraising for an expansion of a reforestation project in the Kijiji Cha Village in Tanzania.

The Flametree Reforestation Project is located in the Kijiji Cha Village of the Manyara Region in Tanzania. The project was completed in the winter of 2019-2020. Local villagers planted 3,200 trees on land that was previously used for agriculture. Due to the survival of the planted trees and success of the project, other groups and villages would like to develop similar tree planting projects.

With local government support, collaboration from with the Arusha area Forest Training Institute, and an available local work force to grow and plant the trees, FwB-FsF is expanding the Flametree Reforestation Project.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to complete phase two of this project. Your support will contribute directly to purchasing supplies, seedlings from local community members.
